4. Logo print
Want to express your love for a brand? Share it with the world by wearing a logo printed piece. You’ll find them in embroidered, printed or all-over versions. Some brands opt for a subtle design on the chest while others like attracting more attention by showcasing their logo in a bright contrasting color, depending on the brand’s design philosophy.
2. Graphic print
Graphic prints have arty appeal that just makes you keep coming back to them - no matter if it concerns the organic-shaped or geometric type. Bright colors are often teamed with neutrals, while tonal prints create harmony. Graphic prints are often applied all-over on a garment; opt for an all-out graphic look by mixing prints, or create a balanced look by teaming graphics in tonal palettes.
3. Floral print
A floral print evokes romance - and this counts for all forms: from enlarged designs to aquarelle and an 1-on-1 photo print. Flowers equal femininity and even the type of flower you choose tells something about your classic, modern or minimal dress style.
TIP
Adjust the size of the print to your body length. If you’re on the short side, then opt for a refined print. When you’re tall, a larger print will create better balance.
1. Text print
Text prints are still favorite among many and it’s been a popular design detail for seasons. Quotes, single-word prints or worldly city names lead the list. Female empowerment, romantic French sentences or a simple provoking word all belong in the text print category. And of course, the word love is an all-time favorite - also often seen in the French translation amour.
5. Stripes
The Breton stripe is the favorite stripe of them all. This classic is often found in a horizontal two-tone design; black and white, or navy and white. Variations on stripes are found in multitude; think varying thicknesses of stripes, alternative colors or a modern vertical stripe.
6. Animal print
A print that is still conquering hearts is the animal print, with the infamous leopard print as the leader - in both a classic palette of browns, or a more modern version in alternative colors. Enlarging or minimizing the size of the print leads to different styles for a more modern approach. To create more harmony, style animal prints garment and accessories in a tonal combination.
7. Abstract print
The group of abstract prints contains a wide range of prints that cannot be categorized in one of the more recognized prints mentioned before. They often express a more arty feel; like tie-dye prints, aquarelle-inspired patterns or blocks in contrasting colors, also known as color blocking.
