2019 marks the year of yet another collaboration. This time she teams up with Marieke Meulendijks who is also the owner of another renowned Amsterdam based brand: Róhe. Their mutual love for fashion, modern art, interior, architecture and people, resulted in an instant click - vision wise as well. Their designs perfectly bridge the gap between being super practical and utmost stylish, with a high level of expression at the forefront. With a duo like this in the lead, fashionista’s worldwide fell in love with TOL Eyewear immediately.
And originates from Volendam – one of Holland’s most typical small villages – and while she says that deep down inside she’ll always remain that ‘girl from the province’, all signs pointing towards her smalltown Northern Dutch roots are covered beneath a thick layer of high-end mundane style. The platina blonde Linda used to work in PR but put herself on the map by sharing her life with the rest of the world, Yes, we’re talking about the profession with probably still the shortest track of existence in fashion yet: the influencer.
And her brand TOL Eyewear is the remarkable result. Well one of them, because the Tol empire reaches quite far nowadays. Linda momentarily resides in Bloemendaal – after having lived in Milan and Amsterdam – and this leading lady has become a solid part of the backbone of fashion, with collaborative projects with big players like Chanel and Diesel already signed to her name.
