Travel fabric is a technically produced jersey with a smooth and refined knit structure and bi-stretch properties, meaning it stretches in all directions. It is (usually) made from a mix of polyamide and elastane, produced in both lightweight and heavier qualities, allowing for the creation of a wide range of designs - both casual and more formal.
But travel fabric, also known as tech jersey, is "tech" not only because of its material but also due to the specific techniques used in its finishing. For example, bonding - or gluing - seams is often applied, which reduces wrinkling, accelerates drying, and prevents shrinking that can occur with traditional seams.
