PB HOW TO
How to whiten and brighten your clothes
Radiant white clothing: nothing is more stunning, but unfortunately, nothing is more prone to stains. Not only do even the smallest marks stand out on white, but white also tends to turn dull or yellow over time, often leading to an early farewell to your favorite white T-shirt, pants, or blouse. Such a shame - and completely avoidable.
TIP
Treat a stain locally with a stain remover before placing the garment in the washing machine. In the machine, the stain could penetrate deeper into the fibers, which you want to avoid.
TIP
Did you accidentally wash a white garment with colored items, leaving it discolored or dull? Add a dishwasher tablet to the wash and run the machine again immediately.
This tip works only for garments treated right after discoloration or dulling occurs, not for items that have been discolored or dull for an extended period.
If you have a stain that just won’t come out of your white T-shirt or blouse and the item seems beyond saving, consider using fabric dye to give it a new color. It’s a sustainable way to repurpose your garment and keep enjoying it!
